As UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) technology matures and tools become both more user friendly & cost-effective many individual users and enterprises are looking for training solutions that enable them to operate UAS's in a all-encompassing range of settings. We are a qualified entity for UAS training design and delivery, Adaptive Aero Technologies, LLC has developed a range of professional training solutions for both commercial, public, and military sector clients.
The Adaptive Aero Technologies UAS Training Academy was designed by Professionals for Professionals. Our trainers have passed the FAA Part 107 test and will insure you will to. The courses are designed to provide a level of knowledge and ability not currently provided by commercially available training courses and we come to you with our mobile command unit classroom. The main objective behind the development of our academy has been the need for professional training for UAS operators providing professional services to enterprise clients. Our mission is to develop all the flight skills that operators need to operate unmanned aerial systems safely and effectively in a enterprise environment.
The AAT training academy has three differnet type of certifications;
1) Hobbyists 2) Commercial/Enterprise/Gov't 3) MIlitary/Special Forces
Our training agenda for each is split into two distinct stages:
• Ground School - classroom tuition, five days with four main lecture periods per day.
• Flight Training - field based practical flight training and assessment, an additional three days.

*Classes are limited to a maximum of 8 participants, and students will pair up at the start of each course to practice the roles of pilot and observer.
Military/Special Forces Training:
As part of Adaptive Aero Technologies, LLC complete package of UAS solutions, we provide specialist training for Public Sector clients, including military and law enforcement users. We can help by delivering custom training classes that not only teach the basics of UAS operation, but are specifically tailored to mission objectives.
These can include:
• Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Missions (ISR)
• Border patrol
• Search-and-Rescue (SAR)
• Fixed base security
All courses follow a highly structured training and assessment process, documented in our course training plan. This plan documents the training objectives and incorporates instructional specifications to ensure that key points are covered and that the enabling objectives are met for each lesson.
The courses contain both formative and Summative Assessment elements.
Formative testing helps both student and instructor recognise lapses in learning so that corrective action can be initiated, and also helps to improve retention where learning has occurred. It also enables instructors to quickly identify those students who require remedial training. The course instructors will conduct Formative testing after each period of instruction as confirmation and at periods during the course as progress assessments.
The purpose of Summative Assessment is to confirm the competence of the student in the theoretical knowledge and practical skills as stated in relevant Training Objectives. The written summative assessments will be carried out at the most appropriate time in the course to confirm the students' ability to satisfy the requirements of the Training Objectives. Summative assessments examine all Training Objectives on a pass/fail basis with students required to pass all assessments.
Typically students must achieve 100% in each safety related assessment, 70% in each theory assessment, and must pass each summative practical assessment in order to pass the course.
In some cases, Adaptive Aero Tech will customize and deliver substitute and/or optionally manned UAS platforms as part of the training delivery program. These substitute systems accurately replicate the experience of flying operational assets, enabling students to learn quickly and cost-effectively without putting high value equipment at risk. This is particularly useful for Launch & Recovery (LRE) training, enabling students to practise with systems specifically designed to support multiple LRE cycles per hour with minimum downtime.
